Thanksgiving afternoon…
Big sky, wind softened clouds, fields of wheat and hay giving way to the Continental Divide topped by early snow – classic northwest Montana scenery under a late afternoon Thanksgiving sky.

The dying garden and browning grass tell the rest of the story…December approaches and although it is not officially Winter until December 21, in Montana, Winter weather tends to jump the gun. We had a taste of it in early October and a few reminders since.
In Montana: Fall fades.

WE GIVE THANKS FOR YOU AND YOUR GENEROSITY IN SHARING YOUR THOUGHTS AND PICTURES OF ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES I HAVE EVER SEEN, AND NOW HAVE THE HONOR AND PLEASURE OF ALSO CALLING MY DEAR, WONDERFUL MONTANA!
I agree with Patty. Thank you for sharing your home life in pics with us. Especially those of us that live in cities. Truly enjoyable! I started following your blog over a year ago and saw all four seasons in pictures and look forward to going through them again.
Thank you Patty and Hilary! The sharing is a pleasure and not altruistic – in the sharing and deciding what to share, I remember to look outward as well as inward and to appreciate and be grateful for the beauty in everything around me.
Morning Ann – just popped in for a ‘gander’. Your photos are divine.
