  • Both pictures are awesome, but anymore I’d take the bottom one more then the top, even if it meant bad roads, wind chills and higher heating bills. Guess it’s the summertime scrooge coming out in me!

  • Snow in June, would love to see that!

  • Both beautiful – The colour in the one and lack of colour in the other is amazing.

  • Melissa in El Cajon

    Wow!

  • What a difference 6 months can make…
You wouldn’t even know there were mountains in the 2nd picture…Love how the trees look to have been sprayed with ( remember the spray snow?)and how the buildings seem to pop out against the shades of white and greys.
    Both are just beautiful

  • Oops, oops, oops!!! – SuzieQ and anyone else looking at the photo dates. In the original post I had the date of the second photo 6/22/2009 – it SHOULD be and is now 1/22/2009.

But, we did have snow on June 10, 2008 and eastern Montana had snow in early June this year.

Connie, yes, almost like the Winter photo is the negative.

Sandy, I love the “frosted farm” – in fact, had it printed on canvas, cropped a bit – and 2 people that have seen it thought it was a painting. The frosted trees and buildings popped even more in the print.

  • Ann… beautiful choice for a canvas and a post card!

  • Both are beautiful, but especially the winter shot… aesthetically speaking. You know where I fall down when it comes to reality. :D

  • I’ll take the nice Summer, thanks!

I envy your cool temps compared with North Florida’s steam heated afternoons.

    Have a great Summer!
