If I need to go to Home Depot, I like to go early in the morning. There are usually plenty of Home Depot people available if I have a question and not too many customer people other than contractors. I wanted to get a wet vac before memory of the “flood” cleanup faded and I would decide I didn’t really need one…
Not too big, not too small and I will take it out of the box soon and make sure it works.
Karl and I took the scenic route to Home Depot. Actually, the normal route is scenic but I added an extra dose by taking some back roads I like. We stopped at an old church turned into community center where Karl attended puppy Kindergarten. I knew we could walk around and it was just some place a little different than our usual walk spots.
Down the road further, Whitefish River and a few side creeks wind through the farms and ranches on the valley floor.
Creekside.

All I could think to say was ‘Yoiks’ when I saw Creekside. Very nicely done Ann, with lovely subject matter too. Thanks for this post, always enjoyable.
A portable vac is always handy to have around, regardless.
The creekside picture just makes me go, “Aaaaaah” … how nice.
Always wondered…you seem to take Karl just about everywhere. Does he go inside businesses with you or does he have to stay in the Jeep?
Well now… I like the shop vac… looks to be a good size. When we purchased ours(same brand) … someone…had to have a HUGE one. I like your size better.
“Creekside” what a view! Makes me want to be on vacation…right now!
Thanks JJ and Pat.
Sandy, He could come in quite a few but only Murdoch’s where we get pet food and treats is he a regular: Karl goes shopping.
Mostly he stays in the Jeep and that’s another reason that I go early in the day, especially now and if it is hot, I have to leave him at home. I’ve taken him with me almost everywhere since I got him. I enjoy it and he seems to prefer going even if it means waiting in the Jeep. He doesn’t ask to get out unless I get the leash in my hand. He has plenty of room to stand and move – I have the rear seat removed. A water dish lives in the Jeep and he always has water. And I’m a quick shopper :)!
Sandy A. …someone, huh??? – I dithered a little but decided on portability albeit maybe more trips to empty it. Kind of hoping I won’t ever have a big water mess and also that it will work for minor pickups and Jeep cleaning in the garage.
“Creekside” does draw one in. Part of the essence of great photography, no?
