Portrait in the sun

Bob’s turn…

  • Nothing more beautiful than an orange cat. I loved our late Tally WHO-who…he looked enough like Bob (and Shreve’s Eli) to be their brothers. I miss him so.

  • Bob, your profile picture is my favorite. What are you thinking?

  • I agree with Susan. The profile is gorgeous!

  • I like Ginger cats.

    Still snow in your surroundings…

    Have a great day!

  • He is just the coolest cat. I think he ranks higher than Morris or Garfield in my opinion. He’s a handsome little bugger!

  • Mr. Bob, how handsome you are. He reminds me of a cat that owned me a long time ago.

  • Cats are so wonderfully photogenic and this one is no exception. Beautiful captures of a beautiful animal.

  • I see Bob is more into being photographed then Karl. I agree with all, the profile is beautiful!

  • Both Bob and Karl tend to look away when I point the camera in their direction. It wasn’t so bad with my smaller camera but now this big, black thing in front of my face and in their’s – I’m having to be sneaky…

These photos were taken on Sunday with sunlight streaming into the sunroom and Bob was napping in a sunspot. I got down on the floor to get his face in full sun. He woke with the first sound. The profile happened when a squirrel chittered outside. I only got the one profile shot – thankfully in focus. I love it also.

  • He is beautiful, love his eye color. I like the profile shot best also. If I weren’t allergic I would have a cat just that color.

  • Melissa in El Cajon

Great photos; I, too, like the profile shot the best. Both of your companions are handsome creatures!

  • Nice to meet you Bob, and may I say in a completely manly way, what a handsome chap you are. A lovely series of portraits

  • you without a doubt have completely captured the spirit and soul of a cat in that first photo
