I spent the first 2 weeks of April, in my motorhome, “parked” at my friends’ home in Ohio. Jeannine is my dear friend of 36 or so years duration – we were in high school band together. Her husband, Rick, I’ve known since their marriage 31 plus years ago – so he and I have had a chance to become friends also.
During this latest visit Rick asked me if I’d like a grapevine wreath. They have some vines near their pond and he makes the wreaths from those.

The wreath rode from Ohio to Montana in the Jeep – cushioned on Karl’s “house” bed.
Next to my front door, there was already something hanging…a George Carruth Garden Smiles placque – a housewarming gift – for this house – from Jeannine…

I hung the wreath so that the placque was centered in the wreath – the Grimm family gift to the family Summers.

This dear little old house… while it could use a bit of an outside face-lift, it is a place of extraordinary inner beauty, peace and love. The wreath – the placque – special gifts from special friends!
