Open Roads Singles is an rv singles group that Bill and I both belong to. Dick aka RVSnowbird - we use aliases for sign in and in many public areas of the group website - was the founder, manager and moderator. Bill and I received a phone call from another member (MANY thanks to KanyonKitty for letting us know!) last evening letting us know that Dick had passed away.
Dick went out of his way to help many in the group and also on rv.net, an rv forum where he moderated several forum groups. He was especially kind to me when I first joined the group and made me feel like a very welcome family member. More recently he was also particularly thoughtful, kind and supportive of Bill and my connecting via the group. We are especially grateful for his starting the group to begin with and his dedication to making the group fun.
Our hearts go out to Dick’s family and many friends who will miss him. We wish him happy trails on the Big Adventure, though!
