ok re the voting in the Bloggies…a couple of readers have said that they would LOVE to vote for From the Front Porch, but the rules of voting for at least 3 blogs have them stymied because they don’t know 2 other blogs.

There are blogs on so many topics - not just “women” topics … you can go to www.wordpress.com and view blog titles from the topic list… or go to the award site for previous years and look at the winners under a heading, or Google blog, topic where you replace topic with something you are interested in.
Some blogs are professional and/or business blogs, some by groups, some individuals.
I find it interesting to view and read different blogs - I love to read, love to see the photos, love to see how different blogs are put together - the blogs I enjoy are more than just on line journals - the “how-to’s” have been very helpful to me as I transition to more web work both for my “work” and for my writing/photograpy “hobby”.
