We didn’t stay up until midnight… we did wake just after midnight, exchanged sleepy “Happy New Year’s” and then I was up before sunrise as I usually am. Karl and I watched the sun come up on a new year as a waning moon lit the morning sky. We are still waiting for the remaining family member to wake and enjoy a New Year’s breakfast…
