I’ve been working on getting things in order to do another long term RV trip. I made reservations to go to an Open Roads Singles get together in late March in South Carolina and decided to head to the south east ASAP and explore some of Florida and the south east coast. I’ll be working full time so drive the leg from Montana to Florida as fast as I safely can to get out of winter weather and situated in the southeast.
In preparation to leave the house and also Bob (he’s just losing weight – another extended RV trip would not be good) – I found someone to stay at the house with Bob for the winter. It’s a win-win situation as Sara needed a place for the winter with internet and she’s deciding about a home based business and I don’t have to worry about the house over winter. She loves Bob and Bob has completely jumped ship and adopted her also. So, Karl and I will go the next adventure as a duo and enjoy not having to cater to the cat! Sara moved into the house several weeks ago and I moved into the motorhome. I had a trip east by plane and we got Karl used to being with her before I left. All did well for the week I was gone and now it looks like schedule and weather will allow me to roll east tomorrow, Monday 11/5!
